The SV155 1.25-inch telescope filter set from the Observation Discovery & Exploration brand includes a moon CPL filter and five color filters - red, orange, yellow, green, and blue - designed to meet your diverse needs. The CPL (Circular Polarizing) filter helps to eliminate scattered light, enabling you to cut through reflections and see the details behind them. It also reduces the brightness of the lunar surface, allowing you to enjoy optimized contrast when observing the moon.

The moon and skyglow filter is particularly useful for eliminating the impact of street light smog, delivering more natural color and a true representation of the celestial objects. The orange filter enhances the contrast between light and dark areas, which helps to bring out the Great Red Spot on Jupiter and improve the overall contrast. The red filter is commonly used in large telescopes to sharpen boundaries and increase contrast on Mars, enhance belt contrast on Jupiter, and reveal surface details.

The green filter is effective in highlighting frost patches, surface fogs, and polar projections on Mars, as well as the ring system on Saturn and the belts on Jupiter. The yellow filter aids in viewing Mars by bringing out the polar ice caps, enhancing blue clouds in the atmosphere, increasing contrast, and brightening desert regions. It also enhances red and orange features on Jupiter and Saturn, while darkening the blue festoons near Jupiter's equator.

The blue filter provides additional detail in the atmospheric clouds on Mars, increases contrast on the moon, brings out detail in the belts and polar features on Saturn, and enhances contrast on Jupiter's bright areas and cloud boundaries. It also helps to split the binary star Antares when it is at maximum separation.

The included moon filter, with a glass thickness of 2mm, is designed to remove the glare associated with observing the full moon, allowing you to sharpen the surface details. The telescope filter set features standard 1.25-inch filter threads, making it compatible with 1.25-inch eyepieces and other accessories.

In addition to the filter set, Observation Discovery & Exploration offers a range of complementary telescope products, including the SV105, SV305P, SV505C, and SV705C telescope cameras, as well as the MK105 telescope, SV503 102ED telescope, and SV550 APO telescope. These products cater to various needs, from planetary photography to astrophotography, with features such as CMOS sensors, focal ratios, and multi-coated optics.

The telescope filter set and other products from Observation Discovery & Exploration have received positive reviews from customers, with ratings ranging from 3.7 to 4.7 out of 5 stars, reflecting their quality and performance in enhancing the viewing experience for lunar, planetary, and astrophotography enthusiasts.
