The 50mm guide scope effectively extends the life of the guide scope by utilizing FMC lens raw materials. It restores true image colors, resulting in more realistic and sharp imaging, and quickly assists in targeting. The 50mm doublet objective design, consisting of a positive lens and a negative lens, significantly reduces light loss, with a light transmittance of up to 99.5%.
The 8mm helical focuser provides focusing accuracy of up to 0.1 mm, allowing users to make details of the image clearer and brighter after finishing the focus. The guide scope can be used as a straight-through finder scope with an optional 1.25" eyepiece installed, making it suitable for nights when astrophoto exposures are not planned.
The nylon-tipped thumbscrews of the guiding bracket prevent scratching the guide scope. The pull-and-focus (Stroke 30mm) design enables users to quickly lock onto the desired stars, and the further precise focusing design helps lock the star details, ensuring a smoother and easier exploration of the universe.
The two large thumbscrew locks on the bases secure the finder scope bracket in place, making it very easy to install and detach the finder scope or reflex sight, even while wearing gloves. The high-strength aluminum with anodizing treatment, combined with CNC machining, ensures a smooth surface and precise cutting of the rail, allowing a perfect fit with the telescope.
The SV106 guide scope is an achromatic refractor with an aluminum alloy tube, suitable for intermediate users. It features a helical focuser with 8 mm of travel, and comes with tube rings and a dovetail rail as accessories. The 50 mm (1.97 in) aperture lens is cemented, fully multi-coated, and has a focal length of 190 mm (7.48 in) with an F4 focal ratio.
The dovetail base has a length of 34 mm, an internal slot width of 5.1 mm, a horizontal internal slot length of 37 mm, and a vertical internal slot length of 35.5 mm, allowing it to be fixed with M3-M5 screws. This versatile guide scope is an ideal addition to any astrophotographer's collection of gear, providing enhanced performance under the stars.
